Concussion Awareness

March 8, 2018:

Ontario passed legislation to protect amateur athletes by improving concussion safety on the field and at school. Our government is dedicated to the health and well-being of all participants in amateur competitive sport and to helping all people in Ontario succeed and lead safe, healthy, and active lives.

While we are thrilled to see this law passed, you should be aware that the operative provisions have not been proclaimed into force. However, Baseball Ontario is staying on top of this and will be putting things in place when regulations are known. Updates will be posted here.

In the meantime, please continue to use the recommended concussion management and return to play strategies in place and available below.
