Travis Jewett, Hitting Coach, Vanderbilt University


Travis Jewett begins his third season at Vanderbilt leading the Commodores' hitters and recruiting efforts. Since Jewett's arrival in Nashville the Commodores have put together two of the most successful seasons in school history capping off the 2014 campaign with the Vanderbilt's first-ever men's national championship. Vandy is 105-33 in his two seasons in the Black & Gold. In his two seasons in Nashville he has helped develop five All-Americans, two Freshman All-Americans and five MLB draft picks, including 2013 SEC Player of the Year Tony Kemp. Prior to his move to Vanderbilt, the Tacoma, Washington native coached at Tacoma Community College, Edmonds Community College, Gonzaga, Washington, Washington State and most recently Arizona State, where he helped the Sun Devils to the College World Series in 2010.
